Holiday Cab returns again this year
Each year, Yellow Cab offers Free Holiday Cabs for those occasions when you’ve had too much to drink and need a designated driver to get you home safely. Local establishments are aware of the program and will even make the call for you. Be safe this holiday and remember to take advantage of the Holiday Cab program.
This is the 25th year for Yellow Cab's Holiday Cab program, which offers free rides worth up to $25 from restaurants or bars in the metropolitan area. The catch: The destination must be a residence.
Holiday Cab began Monday Dec. 18 and runs through Dec. 31. Hours are 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. To take advantage of the Program, call (816) 777-1115.
An alcohol-related motor vehicle crash kills someone in the United States every 31 minutes and injures someone every two minutes. During the holiday season, the roads become even more dangerous. Parties and festivities make the period between Christmas and New Year's Day the most deadly season when it comes to alcohol-related crashes. Alcohol and drug related crashes can be prevented. This holiday season and throughout the year, make a commitment to avoid driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and stop others from doing the same. Take advantage of the Holiday Cab program if you have too much to drink and help make this year’s Holiday a Safe and Happy one!
