H1N1 Flu Vaccine and Seasonal Flu Vaccine Now Available at all Adult Quick Care locations…

Adult Quick Care now has the H1N1 vaccine and Seasnal Flu vaccine at all of our Kansas City area locations as well as our St. Joseph location  (See Below for Locations and Contact Numbers).  The CDC has opened up vaccination for the H1N1 to everyone.  No longer is the H1N1 limited to the priority groups.

The CDC is recommending four basic steps that everybody can take to be healthy this holiday season.

·        Travel well.  That means travel only when you are well.

·        Wash your hands often.  That can be with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

·        Cover your cough and sneeze with tissues or with your sleeve.

·        Get vaccinated, particularly if you're in a targeted population.  Upwards to 40 million Americans have received the H1N1 vaccine.  The vaccine has shown to be extremely effective in protecting against disease.

By practicing prevention, we hope everyone can enjoy the holidays and enjoy getting together.  There's a long flu season ahead with frequent travel and lots of people coming together, we might see an increase in disease and we want everybody to take the steps they can to try to prevent that.
