Independent Medical Examinations (IME)

IMEs provide answers to questions regarding the nature and scope of medical conditions, causation and treatment. Our independent examiner reviews all medical records, takes a detailed history, documents patient complaints, and answers questions posed based on the medical documentation and films provided. IMEs are typically scheduled 2 weeks out to allow collection of all pertinent information. Reports are complete and fast - generally available within 5 business days of the evaluation.

Daryl L. Thomas, M.D.

serves as a Senior Facility Medical Manager for OHS-COMPCARE. He has been with OHS-COMPCARE for over 5 years and has 9 years of experience in occupational medicine. Dr. Thomas is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. Dr. Thomas follows the appropriate AMA guides by the state requirements. Dr. Thomas is also a Certified Medical Review Officer.
